In the early stages, we can provide a preliminary review of the available financial information to help you assess the best strategy for proceeding, and the value of any offers to settle. We can then prepare a claim, or provide a detailed review of a claim, for the purpose of negotiation. If matters proceed to litigation or arbitration, we can provide more formal expert witness reports backed up by robust evidence and can provide oral evidence in court should that be required.

If the parties choose mediation as an option, we can help with support up to and during mediation (parties often find it helpful to have someone on hand during the day to calculate the impact on the claim of adopting differing assumptions).

Compulsory Purchase Order
Losing land due to a compulsory purchase order can have a devastating impact on a company. We Often see cases where the business suffers a significant loss of profits and/or loss of goodwill.

Company/Share Valuation

At the point of completion, we advise on preparing completion accounts and quantifying price adjustments. Where disputes arise post completion, we advise on warranty or misrepresentation claims. We can act as advisor to either the buyer or the seller, or, we can adopt the role of independent expert to determine the amounts in dispute.
